ATG manager. Had incredible success with Man U (who are merkins as Chins has noted). My comment was much more about his managerial style being much more intense. I'd liken him much more to a Bellamy, where Ivan is much more laid back.

Probably fair, typical scotsman I guess.

He was one game away from being sacked in 1990, won the Fa Cup final in a replay against Crystal Palace and the rest is history.

Think the closest in terms of personality (not so much achievements) may just be Unai Emery and what he has been able to achieve with the Villa taking them from a relegation battle to 4th in the EPL. Monumental achievement.
