And to lose him to their biggest rivals. This kid is a 10 year player, has all the tools for rep footy one day. It just looks to be shaping up as one of the worst recruitment/retention decisions in a long time.

How often do top tier halves in their prime leave a club? This is once in a decade stuff that has happened twice in a week to them.

Don't like to make a habit of agreeing with Bunniesman but he may well be on the money here. Bird is a genuine instinctive footballer and while it's very early days in his career he shows every sign of being quite a unique talent. About time we jagged some quality from the stains..... Been adopting your rejects for years.

It's hard to remember another player coming into first grade and having such an immedient impact, particuarly in the halves. Guy looks like an out and out star. I'd say he will play city/country this year.

How good is this kid? Pretty much nearly single handedly won the game for the sharks yesterday, this kid has all the looks of a total superstar.Not sure if 5/8 is his best position but he defently will be in sharks team over barba that's for sure.

Hopefully this one does not get away from the sharks, he looks like a kid you can build a club around.

He's an unfortunate, dopey looking merkin. Seems like he can play though.
