He had a lot of off field issues.

I will admit though I never thought he would make it. He was so skinny. Even at the Tigers he looked like someone who could have been out of the league soon. The Storm have turned him into a beast and one of the best wingers ever. Incredible. Good for him - it would have never have happened here.

But it is fun to imagine Barba, Holmes, Bird, Issako and JAC together in 2016. Can't complain though can we?

It seems to be a case of the right environment at the right time for JAC. Melbourne and Bellamy were what he needed to reach his potential.

As Special K said, he needed to do a lot of work to handle the physicality whilst maximising his speed.

It can be a really fine line between making it and not. Glad he made it. He is fun to watch.
