John Elias and Craig Carauna are 2 others that the parrot tried to help.

I sat down with a friend who knew and mixed with some of the boys he tried to help and let me just say that I don't need to read Jones town, I know more than enough about the bloke.

He never actually played for the Blues but was an 18th man for SOO game in 92 or 93 I think. Lots of potential but I think you could always tell he was never really gunna get there. He tried to score or set up a try every time he got the ball. Didnt matter what situation the game was in. Opposition teams seemed to love playing against him cause you only had to look at him strange for him to do something stupid and give a penalty away.

Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally?
And which year and game would that have been? 1992? 1993?

How about neither, as Jacin Sinclair has never played a game of State of Origin.

actually I thought he was chosen but pulled out, but I'm not as confident on this as Saaby is.

He was chosen, yes, but never suited up in the sky blue.
Sort of like Grothe in 2000 for the Blues...

Or in 2004 when NSW went thru 4 or so halfbacks (Orford, Gower, Barrett, Sherwin) in game 2 before Finch got the gig (classic bradbury that one)

I have checked 5 different resources and as i thought, there is zero mention of Sinclair playing even one game for the Blues.
So i dont know how he "put on a good try for his winger" as super_coach stated.

Sinclair wore the sky blue, but it was only for the team photo for game 3 -1993. He along with Ian 'Hollywood' Roberts both withdrew with injury before the game and were replaced by Tezza Hill and Scott Gourley.

he was definitely chosen I know that but I'm pretty sure he pulled out prior to the game.

Jacin Sinclair was the most talented player to come out of Balmain between Tim Brasher and Benji, if he had his head screwed on properly and decent coaches then he would have played for Australia for many years no doubt

I am pretty sure before I moved to Perth (around 1993-1994) I witnessed Jacin Sinclair playing Reserve Grade for Easts (against North Sydney I believe at the SFS). It’s a game I remember pretty well as Sinclair absolutely dominated. I thought this bloke would be a superstar.
