Hastings is a bit like Pearce, maybe with like a quarter of the talent, both footy wise and drinking wise.
I did. I can understand you questioning me as the intelligence of broncos supporters is low.Didn't you read the article? It said he was knock back by Melbourne.

Jonathon thurston didn't nail down a first grade spot until he was almost 22 at the Cowboys in 2005
Cooper cronk didn't become regular halfback until he was 22 at the storm Ben Hunt wasn't considered much until his breakout 2014 when he was 24
Micheal Morgan become a rep quality half at 23 in 2015 (although he had a good season in 2014 at fullback)
Daly Cherry-evans didn't even debut in the nrl until he was 22 in 2011
Adam reynolds was almost 22 when he debuted for souths in 2012
James maloney was in his mid 20s when he had a breakout season with the Warriors in 2011
Just to put things in perspective Hastings has just turned 20
All good davi hope you had a great Christmas.Sorry it wasn't meant as a swipe at you. I didn't know from your orignal comment that you meant the Storm would of have been a better situation for Hastings and it was a shame they didn't want him. I misinterpreted your comment, and thought you might have been blaming Hastings for not choosing the Storm.
Hastings was a great junior at the dragons. He ran the ball well kicked goals and his general kicking game was excellent. He went to those Rorters which subsequently resulted in his game deteriorating because the salary cap Rorters wanted him to be a ball distributor and run side wards rather than running at the line.
I hope the kid can become the player he was meant to be and get rid of his Rorters tag once and for all as he is better than what we have seen of him over the past years.
He is much better than puppy dog Pearce. Daddy has helped Pearce, Jacksons Dad has allowed his son to make it on his own.
I have never understood the hype with this guy. He must be good at training because I have not seen him deliver on the pitch. All he can do is kick a bomb really high in the air.

Jack bird says hi.Red V he can't have been too good at the Dragqueens, if he was at least mediocre they would have kept him because he would have been streets ahead of what you have now
Oh no we has some upset imbeciles who dont have a clue about the game making comments. Lets say 5 out of the 1000 Rorters rent a crowd have an opinion wow. Did you all get your view from the rorters salary cap manual. Go away you have no idea.
Go away rent a crowd. The fact is Uncle Nick quoted there will be no player with the name Hastings playing for any other club than the rorters. Funny that I thought Uncle Nick was a loyal man to his inner sanctum. Dragons wanted to keep Jackson, unfortunately there are other factors that contributed to Jackson leaving the Dragons and it smelt money. All you said was "he was good at the dragons the roosters wrecked him!" haha yeah you really killed with your in depth knowledge. There are plenty of good juniors who turn out to be shit first graders.
Oh and Hastings made it on his own did he? As soon as he got a little hype and didn't get gifted a spot at the dragons he ran away to Daddys old club and was gifted a spot on the bench at 18 and by time he was 20 no one wanted to touch him, even his old club where he had been such a great junior didn't want him and they are desperate for a good half.
