Storm (Brisbane Norths) have signed Jeremy Smith for 2005 & 2006 as well as Jake Webster. I'm not sure how long Webby is signed for.

Sorry, about the only other Norths regular I know about is Nathan Friend. He has a one year contract for 2005 with the Storm but will most likely spend most of that playing for Norths iirc.

I am from Melbourne and we get bugger all news on Norths down here, the majority of my knowledge of Norths is via Fampa and another Brisbane based Storm supporter. My knowledge on the players I've mentioned has come from my questioning them after games or other Storm functions.

We released him last season IIRC, was a big disappointment after the big wraps given by former CEO John Ribot on his signing. I don't remember he ever got a game with the Storm.

Wasn't it him who as a last minuter inclusion, lasted about 5 minutes v the rooster before getting knocked out.

I am pretty sure it was 'cause I was with the banner crew a few meters from him and he ws masive.

Tanielu has/had massive potential. Huge front rower with speed. If I remember correctly he got injured (neck?) prior to round 1 and that is why he missed most of the season.

He is definitely still around, he is playing for Storm's feeder club, Brisbane North Devils. Although from watching the Storm game yesterday I think he'll struggle to make the Storm's 17 at the moment.
