Game 1 GC Foster 32 def. Jamaica Defence Force 24

Led by double strikes from school boy Miguel Facey and national representative Adrian Mckenzie, GC Foster got past a determined JDF team on Saturday.

Orien Smith scored three tries in a losing effort for the soldiers.
The game was close and competitive throughout and GC Foster had to wait until the final ten minutes in which they scored 10 points to put away the soldiers. This is GC Foster’s first appearance in a Grand Final and they will seek to add the National Championship trophy to the League Leader’s Shield they won after a 10-0 regular season run.

Game 2. Liguanea Dragons 24 def. Duhaney Park 22

Liguanea Dragons will contest their first Grand Final in only their third season in the top flight. Both teams were tied on 8 points at half time. Led by two tries from full back Joseph Shae, the Red Sharks moved o a 22-16 lead with 10 minutes to go. However, the Dragons roared back in the final 10 minutes with two tries from Ali Allwood and Demetrius Campbell to claim victory,

The Grand Finals of the National Club Championship will be held at the UWI Mona Bowl on Saturday September 27, at 4pm.
