James Bracey joins Nine

Former Sky News Australia presenter James Bracey has joined the Nine Network to host its rugby league coverage along with the Sunday Footy Show. Bracey was with Sky News Australia for 13 years and has reporter for Olympics & Commonwealth Games. He was also host of 'SportsNight' for 4 nights every week.

He will join Nine in January

I thought if they lost Sampson and they would guarantee Sterlo a hosting job and get back his gig on Sunday Footy show. Don't know much about Bracey but sounds like an ok presenter.

I think he's pretty fair with all sports but that's just my opinion. Loves North Sydney hates Manly.
Will be weird seeing him on ch9 hosting everything.

Maybe Sterlo didn't want it with his Fox commitments. Much better then an ex footballer trying to host. Sunday Footy Show is all that matters to me I don't watch pre or post games full stop

Yeah I thought he was pretty good. Seems like a pro, doesn't try to be too matey matey with all the co-hosts. Channel 9 need to go further and start a changing of the guard... out with the old and in with the new...

Not that I watched it last night but after watching the All Stars coverage I was quite impressed with his hosting. A thousand times better than Stefanovic (fk knows why he was even host in the first place) and about 10 times better than Williams.
