Would be a good time to bring in a professional media person who is articulate. Ray Hadley would be a good option. He appeared on a previous episode and had a good rapport with the regulars.

Also replace Brent Read. He said yesterday that he didn’t think the Penrith trainer ran in front of Campbell on purpose. I don’t know whether his brief was to take over the argumentative role vacated by Kent. If it wasn’t he should go back to writing stories about golf.

Tania Penitani would also be a good option. Saw her on NRLW 360 and she comes across as a professional media identity. Gave some good insight as to why the Raiders NRLW team might be struggling.

Brent Read is a joke. A couple of weeks ago he justified the Kiraz play the ball penalty against the Dragons as being correct because the NRL said it was the correct decision.

I always thought Lara Pitt was very good in her short stint on 360.
Only problem was she kept getting shot down by Los Idiotos, Kent and Hooper, especially Hooper
"no Lara" were his regular two words coming out. His knowledge of the game is minimal at best, he just loved to hump Kent and Kent was being his normal rude self, which in fairness he did to a lot of people, not just females.

He’s just an apologist for the NRL. Maybe he could talk about how Brett Ogle used to chip left handed and use a broomstick putter to overcome his short game yips.

They see her more as a presenter of information as a former newsreader.

Much more suited to the Ikin/Anasta role.

As was Yvonne.

As much as I hate Kenty, at least he walked home and he got abused on his way home and with 21 beers in him wanted to punch on. In hindsight not the biggest crime.

IMO what Hooper has done here is 100 times worse than Kenty and at least on par with Mam.

The merkin was likely walking to his car or push bike

I thought she embarrassed them all, ran rings around them.

The show isn't about actual opinions. They plan out who'll take which side on any given subject then talk shit.

100%. Lara was too good for all of them as well as being very easy on the eye.

I always think Read should have stuck to soccer-ball as he's no idea about this sport and often seems bought-and-paid-for by certain player managers and coaches.

I don't mind Kent's podcast but jeez he has no time for international footy does he ? And we need that.

But Read got a text months ago about DCE from a “source” (sauce). It said Dolphins or Roosters. Must have come from Masterfoods. He seems to know nothing about Rugby League.

Only what others tell him.
Like Hooper, he seems to turn up everywhere. Is there such a dearth of journalistic talent ?

Maybe DAZN will introduce compulsory media training for everyone before appearing on these types of shows. And it’s TV not radio. Talking generally here but it’s not a good look when some other journalists turn up without even bothering to have a shave.
