Jamie Feeney to Eels?

I have heard rumours up here that Jamie Feeney has signed with the Eels for next year.

They may be just rumours, but I am wondering if anyone down there has heard anything to this effect.

The Storm have said that were not going to resign Jamie, which is a REAL shame. He is a great bench player and a solid defender, but he just could crack a consistemt spot in the 1sts.

I am sorry to see him go because he is really reliable, I guess the Storm hoped he would step up a bit more.

I hope he gets a run at the Eels, Hagan is a good coach and Feeney deserves a good team.

I wouldnt miss him, he offers very little imo.. He is much like Jeremy Smith except Smith is very good in both attack and defence where Feeney is really only a quality defender.
