Yes, but again, he has never shone at rep level like the players you mentioned. Inglis, Slater, Smith, Cronk and Thurston have all won premierships AND dominated at the highest level countless times and Lyon hasn't dominated at rep level once, Infact he's struggled badly in the past.

I'm not denying that he's a great player because he is but I'm just pointing out why he'll never be held in the same regard as the players you mentioned.
