Agreed. His diving, biting and poncing around makes me feel liking punching his chubby little face. It's just a shame Mattai missed his head:evil:.
Looks like Matai is going to miss a few weeks as well.

Oh well, he can spend more time fixing his hair and practicing hitting people when they can't defend themselves.

NRL match review committee chairman Greg McCallum said it had been difficult to lay a charge after Ballin decided not to push ahead with a complaint.
"There was no allegation at all and there hasn't been any allegation of biting," McCallum said.
"The fact that the video evidence initiated an investigation would indicate there was some concern there."
"But the Manly club and Matt Ballin said they would be making no further comment so there was no charge laid."

Soward is getting the last laugh on everyone at the moment. I can understand how he gets under oppositions teams, and their supporters, skins though. If he played for anyone but the Dragons I would probably hate him too.

Matai is a cat. I actually don't think he is ever injured. I think he puts it on. He always is clutching up something, but being the hero he is he manages to play on. I noticed at one stage on the weekend he got up holding his wrist, looked for all the money he must have broken it. Next thing you know Soward gets the ball and Matai is putting a cheap shot on, showing no signs of the wrist injury.

He is a drama queen. Tough is a bloke like Webke, who never showed he was injured even if he was, but played on. Blokes like Boony, who use to cop a pizzling from the Windies. They reckon he used to come in all battered and bruised, but he never let on out in the middle. These type of blokes are tough not blokes like Matai, who at least once a game looks like he is about to cry.

As opposed to Costigan and Boyd doing pretty much the same thing?

Pretty much the same thing?

Wow. Girls must feel safe on the insular peninsular these days!

You blokes go on and on whinging about the character of Jamie Soward because of an alleged bite..... yet stand as one on the hill at Brookvale when that piece of human trash took the field this year.

What a bunch of tools.

He's got a recurring neck injury. Don't know what happened with his wrist, but most of the time when he goes down he's clutching his shoulder.

"I hurt it last week against Newcastle and had a few scans and come back I've flexed a nerve," he said.
"At that level where I had the surgery it's not going to be as strong as the other levels so it's going to be ongoing and I'll see a specialist next week and hopefully he'll give me a few options."
Matai says a neck brace like the one worn by Warriors centre Brent Tate is an option.
"I hadn't considered it before but a few of the trainers have come to me and said 'look why don't you try it,' so I'll have a look at it and talk to Brent Tate about it," he said.

As opposed to Costigan and Boyd doing pretty much the same thing?

fact one - costigan was not present in the incident you refer to.

fact two - the girl involved was above legal age (eg not a schoolgirl..) and consented initially

fact three - the police got involved, reviewed the footage and said no case to answer.

fact four - i now understand why people hate manly fans.

I think you'll find the bolded part is the important bit, if Ballin makes a complaint Soward is toast. And why else would McCallum call him if he didn't think the footage looked bad?

It's not like I needed another reason to hate Soward, but he'd have to easily be my most hated player atm.

If Ballin want to go on with it, he might end up with 2 weeks for a gripple tackle

His hand should not be rubbing Soward's face and jaw, the dirty grub

On the money mate....people are a joke for attacking Jamie Soward all the time. Compared to the pieces of sh*t that have lined up in bulldogs jerseys and manly jerseys Soward is a saint (mind the pun)
