JWH graduated with me from Iona in 06 and has done very well considering he hadnt played league since he was 12 or something. Watched J-ray b4 the Broncs game (great result :D) and he played a more than solid game. He shouldn't be playing prop, IMO he's best suited at lock cuz of his mobility and speed. He has good foot work for a big boy. He'll become more dominant when he gets more confident and familiar with league.

I think he is only playing prop to force him to do the tough stuff, he can play a much simpler game there and get used to the switch of codes and pace of the game, he should end up in the back row by the time he is ready for firsts, I hope so anyway.

Seen only one game this year against the Bulldogs, really gets involved and looks like a tough bugger too.

I read in an article somewhere (ill try to find it and post it) that his goal was to play 1st grade, and the other was to play in Origin for NSW.

How long have we signed this kid for?

Was at the the game on Sunday, I was really impressed by JWH along with Kieran Foran. For someone who just came over from rugby, he was strong for the U20's side. Worked his butt of in defence and carried the ball strongly.

Showed some real mongrel back to the Warriors players when they were dishing it out. Love to see that stuff. Hopefully he picks to represent N.Z by the way. lol.

I think he along with Kenny Edwards (another kiwi) have the potential to go on and play first grade.
Apart from those 2 i dont really rate any of the TC forwards. Darcy Lussick can look good at times.

Thats true HB, JWH and Edwards looked the only ones who were giving it their best. Lussick did have a few good touches. But gee we have a gun in JWH.

Not too sure bout the JKiwis and JKangaroos game though Alehana.

While I totally agree with you about JWH, I strongly disagree regarding Kieran Foran. He & halfback Cherry-Evans play like young kids as they often hold the ball too long (classic hogs), thus stifling the forwards not to mention the poor backs who against the Warriors hardly saw any ball !! All opposition needs to do is shut down these two and team is screwed. I also wouldn't feed a few others in that team (ie: Kenny Edwards). This guy had a three man overlap on his outside (all speed men), and he decides to flick an impossible ball back inside to a Front Rower who couldn't run outa sight on a dark night, (Ball also went to ground!). Like so many footballers, Edwards is clearly overrated as apart from poor on field discipline, he also wants to fight everyone. If I was coach I'd send him back to park footy so quickly he'd get a nose bleed. Lets hope the coach wakes up to his antics sooner than later as watching a young Manly team play so poorly was quite frustrating.

So if they had the heart to play 1st grade would you think they stood a chance with their flaws coached out of them ?
