Just reading through the Dragons side to take on the warriors on Feb 5 and noticed Jarrod Dykes' name in the 17. Looks like they are giving a lot of young players a go. Just thought some of you might have been interested!

This trial game is essentially all reserve grade players from Saints. Basically anyone who wont be part of the charity shield squad.

Further info on jarrod Dykes, for those interested. He has not yet signed with the Dragons, and is currently only on trial there i believe.

If the Saints had half a brain...They wouldn't sign Jarrod Dykes
And Todd Bates? Oh big deal...he did nothing after scoring that try against Parramatta.

The only good players we lost were Stuart Kelly,Clinton,Scott Donald and Pj Marsh.
The others were no great losses..well maybe Ian Hindmarsh.

Hmmm... maybe coz Michael "FACELIFT" Hagan never gave him a decent chance after that game. As for Jarrod, he is a top bloke and would I be interested in where some of my so called "Pets" are playing this year.

For those interested. Dykes scoreda try in the premier league trial in Hamilton, NZ which the Dragons won 36-30. Reports are he went ok and was "solid".
