I was surprised he was dropped. I really thought he did more than Hunt in previous games and deserved not just a spot, but a starting spot. Still, Hunt had a great game - it's just fantastic we can have selection arguments with the depth we have this year.
Go the Saff!!. He's not injured, he's just waiting.....
Hunt kept his spot due to this and turned in a very good game from where I saw it and in comparison to his inconsistant offerings in the opening rounds.
Dan Mike Hunt is the missing piece in the puzzle. Throw Poore, Weymann, Saffy and Hunt at a team and they will know they have been in a game. I was really happy he won the MOM. No one is talking about Hunt but he has a role to play.
I take back what I thought of Saffy before: I thought he was a fringe first grader and thought he wasn't worth resigning. But he has definitely proved me wrong and I guess under Bennett we are seeing his potential. Looking to see more from him.
Am a Fan!!!
But I don't want to start bagging other.
I'm feeling very SQUAD friendly.
Sure our players are better and worse then one another.
But this year I'm looking at the big picture, NOT the individual pieces.
Someone will let us down.
Another will save our bacon - but that's what team sport is all about.
I remember Billy Moore.
I think SAINT GEORGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
