"Australia's Justin Hodges' World Cup ambitions remain in doubt following scans on his shoulder this week.
Brisbane Broncos teammate Karmichael Hunt has been suggested as a possible replacement along with Parramatta Eels' Jarryd Hayne.
St George Illawarra centre Matt Cooper however, is emerging as the most likely replacement.
Australia will take on New Zealand in Sydney on October 26.
Meanwhile, New Zealand halfback of the century Stacey Jones will make a one-off comeback in the All Golds match against the Maori at New Plymouth on Sunday."

Seriously ruining the f***ing game.

It should be Colin Best anyway. Hayne's had a sh*t year, and Best was Dally M Winger of the year, and he can play centre as well.

Hayne was going to play for one of the lesser nations (i can't remember what one) but this just reeks of Australia trying to weaken their competition, same as picking Tupou over Thaiday.

What does "has been suggested" mean? Is this from an ARL official or just the journalist speculating on possible replacements.
