I think Thurston wrapped up the Dally M with his performance against the Chooks. Hayne needing to score against the Dragons and hope Thurston didn't score a point by my calculations.

I hope Ossie puts the money into keeping Hayne and Mortimer and forgets about Thurston. His age, price and shoulders are three reasons to pass.

This might be cruel but if Haynesy missing out on the Dally M makes him more affordable to keep at the Eels, then I hope Thurston gets it.

Haynesy knows that every one-eyed eels fan has him as the best in the world anyway. ;-)

I don't want Thurston here. Not unless he was willing to come for 300 thou or less, and had a total personality transformation into a decent human being.

Thurston only has to fart to get points from the judges, he will get the award. Joke considering he never did time foir kicking someone in the face.

I still think it will be absolutely ridiculous if Thurston wins tonight. Yes , I would love Jarryd to win,but I think I could even handle it if Soward won, but not Thurston, he is just such a golden child (can do no wrong in alot of peoples eyes).

Fee...the Dally M is for feats on the footy field...not for helping old ladies across the road.

Im sorry , but I just dont like him as a player (yeah yeah he is a good player) I just think he has a shocking attitude and if things dont go his way he is a big whinger. Just my opinion, you dont have to agree. I dont think he is the best player in the comp!

I'm happy with who we have tbh. I wouldn't mind another backrower though..

Shocking nose:lol:, but plays OK, from what I have watched this year.

Lewis Brown - only 23. One more year with the Warriors I think.

Jarryd Hayne isn't exactly Mother Theresa either.

But I see what you're saying. I think he's a bit over rated. It was fun giving him sh*t when the cowboys played us this year.

Yeah, but unlike Jonathon Thurston, Jarryd is young and seems to be making some changes in his life, for the better! I know what you mean, but I didnt like Jarryds attitude either last year, lets hope he has turned a corner in his life!

Brett Kimmorley has been the best player in the competition. Even though the Dally M is a piece of journalistic catsh*t, he deserves to win it.
