Will he get onto the field in a regular season game?
so my nfl friend 'expert' thinks that hayne is not athetic enough to make the nfl, but inglis is. Fmd. Hayne is our best athletic specimen, yet apparently nfl players are so god-like that he'd never make it. He thinks his opinion is more valuable than that former aussie punter
But what do you all think? Does he have the athleticism? I don't really watch nfl, but he carries on like nfl players are gods, not men.

I think the NRL's demands on fitness blunt his pure athleticism. He may make gains in that area one he starts to change up his training composition. The cardio that NRL players need are on a different stratosphere to NFL players.. So they sacrifice explosiveness and athleticism for cardio.Hayne's athleticism is not a game changer. He's one of the most athletic NRL players of all time, he'd be middle of the road for skill positions in the NFL. That's the truth of it

This is a bit off topic... But I often get asked by my mates which sport is the toughest...
And I've always said the same thing... RL IMO is tougher sport...
And it has nothing to do with the lack of pads etc... To me it's one word...
Fatigue...
Plain and simple... Performing your skills at the highest level under extreme fatigue is IMO the reason why RL players are the toughest on the planet.
Making that first tackle is great... But how about getting in to marker and making a 2nd and a 3rd in a row.... NRL players are so underpaid its ridiculous.
Having said all of that... I don't fancy his chances... It's incredibly difficult.
Only giant beasts like Wes Welker can make the NFL,slow midgets like Hayne have no chance.
Your average NFL player would not play NRL with the money they earn even if they could. Take out the fact they'd be sacrificing a huge payday.
Most NFL players expect the protection they wear, money they earn and the relative shortness of their season as compensation for what they put their bodies through.
That is why a lot of Americans don't get the no pads thing.
No way he could play safety, zilch
