but no sign of Steve Clark in the top grade as a ref at least

Nah, I still think Jason Robinson is a damn good ref....yeah he made some wrong calls vs the Cowboys, but I reckon alot of the mistakes came from the dimwitted touch judges.

Jason also had to put up with Nathan Cayless unnecessarily giving him a gobful all night - not on Nathan.

Agreed, Robbo is a good ref. A bit like Bill, he doesnt take crap from the players.

I thought his refereeing was OK, but the way he handled the players was woeful.

Fair dinkum, Cayless did give him a spray, but I mean he was fending off a bloke, the touchy says he was punching him and we get in trouble.

And on a few calls Cayless (well within his rights) questioned him and the ref ignored him.

Brace yourselves. This will be the next Holywood.

No way - Robinson is nothing like Harrigan....Billy thought he was the main reason everyone turned up to the ground was to watch him - he had already reffed the game in his head before he turned up.

Robo calls it as it is - captains can talk to him and he listens, but all of caylo's "u bettr not give this penalty..." stuff is not right.

jason robinson is a great young ref. i reckon hell be the next bill harrigan. he handles the players very well and if i was him i would have sent caylo for 10 when we played the cowboys. he went out of his way to make things difficult for the ref all night. robinson is very cool calm and collected. hes miles ahead of the other young refs.

he works for the RTA, He marked my car out when i had a crash if anyone wanted to know. Seemed alright then!
