Admittedly I only ever randomly tune in to the J's, but from what I've heard of Jay and the Doctor, I've failed to be impressed. Hopefully they are only there on a temporary basis until some decent announcers are found to replace them.

Not up to Adam & Will's standard yet, but they're doing ok so far, and big ups to them for the "Tsuna-you, tsuna-me" song, that was farkking hilarious, and a great way to court some controversy in their first week on air.

I am not sure when they are telling a joke

The previous hosts used to laugh at their own jokes so you knew when they said one

Do you like your sitcoms with canned laughter too?

I've only listened once and it was quite funny. Although I found it a bit odd they have to do interviews and introduce songs that they, I assume, dislike immensely but not bag them. I heard them interviewing Pete Murray. How can anyone not hate this guy? Most boring crap I've ever heard.

The song is bloody funny too. Good to see the ubiquitous PC Squad having a whinge.

How else am I supposed to know when something funny happens?
Think for myself?

they're no Adam and Will, but they'll do

Thank god for that

I had to stop listening to JJJ in the morning because Adam and Will are so bad.

At last they've gone and some one worth listening to.

Jay and the Doctor had a trial run last year in the drive time show and it went so well they've now got the breakfast gig for the year.

Not bad for Newtown supporters...

They should ring Kyle & Jackie O on air & give it to them. Again.

I love that they are pushing boundaries, and I have loved the music they have been playing so far...

However, the "play a song > comment on how much they love the song > bag the shit out of the song/artist" routine is getting pretty tired, pretty fast. Also, if they do a job like they did on Pete Murray on Monday (whilst I don't like the guys music, he did donate his time for charity) again they wont get too many artists to interview because the labels simply wont let the artists go to JJJ.

They have to be a bit smarter with their work - otherwise they will just come across as bitter pricks. However I was impressed with the way they handled Tim Costello the other day...

It was a f'en embaressing attempt to grab some headline space.

I know it's all hip and cool to just do the opposite of the decent thing to be "edgy" but they should be ashamed of themselves.

There are still bodies being discovered.

Have some class you drongos.

PC?

It's nothing to do with PC.

It's called having some class.
