Jaycar's Newspaper Ad

I sincerely doubt that all the emails that he received would have been read. I also doubt that this would be the guy's real email address. Instead, I would put good money on a new account being created just for this purpose. The email quantity and sender would have been the only things checked, and all emails would have been considered to be positive feedback.

There's been a thorough investigation at Jaycar, and it was discovered that Brian Waldron was the sole perpetrator in putting your name on the wrong side of the ad.

None of the players or management had any idea what was happening, they all assumed fake names for public view was standard (although they did see the full list of names and the side they should go on)

Waldron has had his termination ended by Jaycar, and is fully and only to blame.

The Jaycar boss was on Insight the other night, when they did the salary cap forum. He explained there, why he chose to spend the money on the ad. He is a pretty ' out there ' sort of bloke who seems to have his heart is in the right place and wants his opinions heard.

I am surprised so many people chose not to appear on the program, as every man and his dog was apparently invited.

I was originally invited but they didn't ask my dog...

That is extremely funny.
Sad fact is that he thinks he has it over you.
I'd reply if I was you.

I have replied;

Talk about miss the point.
I thought you got stitched up on the footy show last week, but it turns out you are just incredibly stupid.

This would be the same ground announcer who tries to sound like Rabs and looks like David Fairleigh?

No he drives the H Train. After he scored his try on Friday, the ground announcer was yelling out 'clear the tarmac, here comes the Hayne Train', and one astute person near me stated what kind of train needs the tarmac to be cleared?
.

But I've been told on here that (no matter what our new ground announcer does), he's "on fire"....

Some people simply don't want to have constructive criticism, especially of the new announcer's performances.

I can remember a far happier time when ground announcers only made special announcements. The kids seem to like being told when to cheer, but it annoys the hell out of me .

Honestly his timing of the cheers is just about right for mine. He picks the flow of the game and starts a cheer near perfect. Same can't be said about crowd members unfortunately. Why start a cheer when they're just getting ready to pack a scrum? Then only go for about 4 "PARRA clapclapclap"s, at which time the ball has just come out of the scrum? Why not do the chant when we have ball in hand at least?

Glad to hear the Parra fella dies a good job of it . The only NRL game we get here in Cairns, each year, is the Cows V Whoever trial game and the announcer is none too flash . The worst are apparently the Cairns Marlins basketball team games. The announcer screams his guts out for most of the game while loud 'doof, doof' music blasts out. Hope the NRL don't go even more Seppo, and end up like that.

The timing of the cheering and the clap clap claps needs improving. I hope this issue doesn't simply get swept under the carpet.
