Just got back from Narellan. Newtown 26 have defeated Erina 18. It was a very even game. Newtown didn't play as well as they did last week @ Windsor, blowing several chances, conceding penalties and dropping a lot of ball. A win is a win though.

Jets have the bye next week.

Thats good to see the guys getting another win jeffles. I heard that Anton La VIN played Rugby Union somewhere last weekend. does that mean he may be losing interest in league already as is not getting a run in Prem/league ???

Yes Anton was released by the Roosters as he wanted to continue with his career in union.

The game was moved to Narellan due to costs and potential to develop relationships there.

Was he disgruntled at not getting a run in Premier league Bluebag ??

Think he started the season in Prem/league for several games then never got another look in.

Hope he goes good in union though. I thought he had a lot of talent actually.

Geuss the crowd for the Jets Beam games has been rather dismal as well and he is probably used to a bigger crowd support.

Crowd wasn't that good. Nothng wrong at our end - Narellan have had a bit of trouble of late and that affected the crowd.

The Windsor game will be played there as well.

About 50 by my count. Considering I once counted 68 at a Stand Alone JBC game played at Henson Park, it wasn't that bad. One bloke that stood behind me lives that way and said he cannot get to Henson much, so he was glad for the game.

So I am taking it that the game won't be rained out today for the Beam side. Just saw in the paper that Cabramatta beat the Bulls by four points last night.
