Do the NRL own the clubs brands and IP?

i think clubs have control over their own brands but how the brands are used and utilised and what governs their usage on a wider scale falls under nrl so its abit like an umbrella thing if that makes sense.

so clubs can change their logos or jerseys or colours at their own will but nrl still need to approve it all. bears would control the logo colours jerseys as far as saying yes to this, no to that but nrl still would need to approve final designs.

I believe in a Perth team. I don't believe in the parasites being forced upon them so they can try to steal the team and relocate it to North Sydney.

If it were the Jets being forced upon them, I'd feel the same, they just wouldn't be parasites like the Bears.

youre such a dumb dumb. why would the only club thats ever tried to relocate away from one city to another location (sydney to cc and even paid some stadium costs) try to undermine their own chance of being back in a new location?

The WA govt also don't want to own/operate the club. The NRL don't want to permanently own the club. So what happens when they want to sell? Any potential owner has to be forced into accepting a parasite that contributes nothing and just leeches off its host?

No different to any club that goes on sale, you buy it for what it is, unless your leigh centurians leopards

I think the bears will be kept in the loop but the NRL will be making the calls via the new club.
