Jeff Brooks, Name ring a bell - early 80's

I got this email today 16/4/05 from Brooksey. Does the name Jeff Brooks ring a bell with any of the older supporters. He played for the Newtown Jets in the early 80's before playing with Canterbury.

This is what Brooksey emailed me.

I was hoping you had something on Jeff Brooks. He
played in the earlier 80's for the jets and was grabbed by the dogs.

Any help would be great...sorry i really don't have much information
but he is my dad and I wanted to try and find a picture,write up or
magazine of him for his birthday.
