The Panthers would like to congratulate Lachlan Coote and Michael Jennings, who have both been named in the Prime Minister's XIII to play Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby on Sunday September 23.
The match will be a PM's XIII debut for Coote, while this is the fourth time Jennings has been selected for the side.
Panthers team mates Tim Grant and Luke Lewis were both named in the train-on squad, but have been forced to withdraw due to surgery and injury.
The PM's XIII will assemble at Sydney's Allianz Stadium on September 13 for team medicals, then in Cairns on the 20th, before flying out to Port Moresby on Friday September 21.
Jennings and Coote have also been named in the train-on squad for the end-of-season Test against New Zealand in Townsville on October 13.
The full PM's XIII team is:
1. Darius Boyd (Newcastle Knights)
2. Akuila Uate (Newcastle Knights)
3. Jamal Idris (Gold Coast Titans)
4. Chris Lawrence (Wests Tigers)
5. Michael Jennings (Penrith Panthers)
6. Lachlan Coote (Penrith Panthers)
7. Scott Prince (c) (Gold Coast Titans)
8. Aaron Woods (Wests Tigers)
9. Andrew McCullough (Brisbane Broncos)
10. Ben Hannant (Brisbane Broncos)
11. Matt Gillett (Brisbane Broncos)
12. Feleti Mateo (NZ Warriors)
13. Corey Parker (Brisbane Broncos)

14. Peter Wallace (Brisbane Broncos)
15. Tim Mannah (Parramatta Eels)
16. Josh McGuire (Brisbane Broncos)
17. Ben Te’o (Brisbane Broncos)
18. William Zillman (Gold Coast Titans)

Great to see them make it. Especially Coote with only playing a limited amount of games there. I also find it funny that Coote is starting before Wallace. But I don't know about Jennings on the wing...

Congrats to both, but Jenko has been dudded majorly IMO. Being thrown on the wing to accommodate Lawrence (good player, poor season) and Idris (deadset nuffie). Idris shouldn't have been near the team and Lawrence should be out of position before Jennings. The weakest part of this side IMO is the centres and they pick the best performing centre of the bunch out of position.

Much better backline with Jenko in the centres now and a solid winger coming in.

Beau Ryan is a better winger then Idris is centre IMO. He was a bit shocking in his earlier days as a first grade player, but the past year or two he hasn't been too bad. With the injuries list and players ineligible due to being in finals footy, he's not that bad of a selection.

Personally I would have picked Flash ahead of him... but given how little footy he has played it's understandable that they didn't consider him.

I heard that Julia said 'We need to get Kevin somewhere out of the country now!'.

So this will be jennings last game as officially a Panther till he becomes a tiger on his return
But I thought he signed with Eels last week, and Dragons the week before. Or the Sharks and Bulldogs earlier on in the year. It changes every week.

Only reason this knob is saying that is because there was speculation on twitter that Jennings is on an official team trip with the Tigers.

Again...all speculation.

Could it happen? Maybe.

Could I screw Jessica Alba...maybe...
