In reality they're both excellent footballers but as of 2013 JWH is pretty clearly the better of the two- arguably the best prop in the game. That's no criticism of Smith either, he's just not as highly ranked in his position.

JWH isn't even close to being the best prop in the game. Matt Scott, Andrew Fifita, Kade Snowden, Sam Burgess, George Burgess and Paul Gallen are all better than this pea heart and all give away less penalties.
