If Brazil wear their predominantly yellow with blue shorts, Australia in dark green would be fine.
Now do South Africa, Jamaica, Cameroon, etc, without multiple of them clashing with each other or a bunch of other nations that aren't green/yellow but near enough to also clash if you're not careful like Colombia, Nigeria, Sweden, Ivory Coast, etc, all whilst taking colour blindness and other vision impairments and broadcast and technological restraints into account as much as possible.

The reality is you can't, something has to give, and it's much simpler and more effective to have a dark and a light kit that contrast.

As a person with colourblindness I don’t believe that should be factored in. It’s insulting to be honest. A classic example of people without the issue advocating for something people with the “issue” don’t want advocated for.

Colombia wears predominantly Yellow = Australia should clash with Aussie green.
Nigeria wears predominantly green = Australia should clash with Aussie gold
Sweden wears predominantly yellow = Australia should clash with Aussie green.
Côte d'Ivoire ways predominantly orange = Australia should clash with Aussie green.
