Humans use drugs. All sorts of drugs, and have done for a looooong time. The government decide certain things are not okay and most people just accept it and don't ask questions. These things aren't illegal for your safety or wellbeing.
alcohol, cigs and maccas are all fine and dandy yet they're detrimental to your health.

Cocaine is obviously bad for you, but the media circus and public outrage surrounding this whole thing shows just how dumb people are.

Although I agree with the principle here, I doubt whether this kid simply being a junior league player would be a reason for targeting. Simply didn't have the profile as a target to validate any kind of conspiracy theory. Likely just another victim of the continued rise of the backyard, garden-variety fascism being imposed on Australian citizens. Also, no evidence of gear being sold at the venue. Unlikely.

don't mean to sound like a bastard but I struggle to feel sorry for these people who get caught.
At what age are these kids learning the difference between right and wrong?
If I was gifted enough to earn big money from playing league, I'm sure I'd be able to behave myself for a few years.
