Good to see that the Bluebags are now in outright second place on the NSW Premier League competion ladder.

With a the BYE and a certain two competition points as a result this weekend things are looking pretty positive thus far at this stage of the competition.

2/ Jets 22
3/ Manly 21
4/ Tigers 21
5/ Saints 20
6/ Penrith 20
7/ Canberra 19
8/ Sharks 18

9/ Souths 17.

With this weeks games Parra versus Canberra. ( Canberra could win this )
Tigers versus Penrith ( Anyones game this one )
Manly versus Knights ( Knights have been close )
Souths versus Sharks ( Clash for 8th spot )
Saints versus Norths ( Norths desperate to win )
Wests versus Berries ( Both teams showing form )

Jets look like cementing their spot in the four this weekend with the BYE..

Could we possibly be only two points behind Parra if Canberra cause an upset win this weekend. ????

The ladder is STILL very close though and a couple of losses in a row could make all the difference to ANY of the clubs.

I've been told Parramatta went down to Canberra in P/L this weekend???.....:badgrin:

yeah they did mate. That means parra remain on 26 points, and jets are in second place still on 24. Bring on that Parra versus Jets henson Park game.

However we have to beat Manly next week at Henson, and keep winning before we have a go at that one.

Manly lost to Knights last weekend 26 to 22. Think they are missing WITT who is playing first grade. Just hope he stays in first grade for next weeks game, as he was good against us earlier on this year at brookie when they beat us.

Balmain beat cougars 32 to 16 are in third place right up the jets clacker on 23 points, so we cannot afford a loss to manly if we want to retain 2nd spot.

We have not beaten Manly ( by memory ) in ATLEAST our last three efforts against them, and they were the first team to defeat us at home last season. They are also responsible for our biggest loss this season thus far, and our biggest loss of the entire season last year.

Bring em on !!!!!!!!
