Jets versus Tig's ( Neil Pringle cup game )

Cant make this game tomorrow. Is anyone from here going out to see it ??

Tigers have only won the two games thus far this season, and both have been at their home ground. NRL crowd at this one perhaps too, should be worth atleast one Tigers try, but it's an early kickoff I suppose so the crowd should not be that large that early in vocal Tigers support..

Thoughts anyone ??

Come on Blues. With the Parra/Wenty game next week, and an undefeated thus far Norths coming up thereafter ( for the first potential realistic challenge of the Frank Hyde Cup since year 2000 ) , this is a must win game for the Jets..

If we lose this and then go down two weeks in row to the second and first placed teams, we could drop right out of contention with so many sides , so evenly pressed in 5th to about 8th on our heals.

No easy games guys !!

Jets won 20-12 very physical game 3 players concussed and 10 minutes to go no reserves.Glad to get the 2 points.:crazy:

It was a tough game, and there were more Jets fans than Balmain fans at the start!

Thought Millward was fantastic at half back.

Balmain - they've got nuffink! Good to grind out the win away from Henson.

Who were our best players guys ??

Two BIG games coming up at Henson now ! In a row. I think the North sydney game is in Origin week too , isn't it. Although it's still early I am worried that we may be a few Jets players short for this one.
May have to compensate for roosters/origin players that may rest.

I noticed that the side that played the Tig's was not as on paper either. Grose etc played NRL right ?

Saw some of the game in the back drop of the sports shows on morning ch 9. They did some coverage from the ground, and stated the Jets were in again, but gave no score.

It was 14/12 at one stage though was it not ? Sounds like the Tig's gave it a real shake towards the end, before we put the last try over ?
