So who is going? I am making the trip for this one due to the longstanding rivaly the Jets and Cobras have developed over the past few months.

Go the Jets!

Good that you heading back down to gods country mate.lol ;-)

What rivalry though ? lol........ We flogged em 30/10 in game one of the season. Though I expect they will be laying their season totally on the line with this game. Lets face it. Look at the ladder they have too right ?.

And after beating the Bears they will be coming at us hard. This could be a bad game for us coming off a 19/19 draw with 2nd last placed Berreis last weekend. Whats our line-up mate ?

Have we got those " key " players back for this one. !?

Ford to fullback. New halves combo untried this season together. But some faces appear to be back. Though Grose and Nuuasala both also named in Roosters outfit that is ( resting some players this weekend after origin - see Roosters website ).

Jets won 42 / 20. Late try to the cobra's. was 10 all apparently at half time ?

A win is 2 points. Heard the guys played pretty solidly and never really looked losing this one.

If it's so dull and boring why would you bother coming on here brain surgeon.

You know, originally I just assumed you were some disgruntled little girl, who having been dumped by the club, got sore grapes over it.
You have nothing positive to say, and only want to put sh*t on things/ the club/ and people on these forums.

In fact there is tinge of obviously unfounded arrogance in many of your gutter trash posts ( btw the lines ) that IMO relates to some belief that you are " better " than all others on these forums, ( for some dillusional reason, Who the f**k knows why or truly cares. )

But for me you crossed the line when you came on here several months ago ( hiding behind your computer , and attempting to bag my old-aged mother. ) who has been following the Jets since the fifties.

I would say someone that feels the need to put sh*t upon old ladies who have been following the Jets for over 50 years is more of a " DOG " than most anyone I have come across on these forums.

PS... I'll PM you when Im coming up. You just come over and talk in person to me next time, not hiding behind your computer terminal.

Thats all Im saying.

Thats a convincing scoreline 2TB, should make for an encouraging match report. On a different tangent I was at Rebel Sport at Pacific Fair (Broadbeach) the other day and could not beleive my eyes when I saw a Rugby League Centenary Jets football for sale. In one eyed QLD that is a feat within itself. Naturally I bought it to give to my young bloke. The jets word is spreading! :D

Great stuff Greg. Was out and about today with the Jets jersey on( showing the flag , lol ) though could not make the game mate.

Important win this one IMO, as Jets play against Manly next weekend. And also Manly/Norths/ Wenty-Parra all also have games coming up against each other. So if we keep winning, and they play each other. It's all good mate.

Hopefully get even a few more faces back next week. Hope there was no injuries today. Have not heard. Apparently the line-up differed from that above though. Including a further jets 2008 Debut ( though I cant recall what his name was from the phone call I got from henson Re the scoreline).

Hey " Iamasharkie " !

Did you get down to Henson from QLD for this one, afterall mate ?? ( if so you would be on your way to Shark Park now hey ? ). Big game for the Sharks in NRL after the Roosters loss last night, for sure.

either you or your mother wish to call me a dog yet when the same term is returned you crack the sh*ts you big pussy, you talk the talk when as you put it are "behind your computer" I cant wait for you PM and rest assured I come face to face with you for a chat.

P.S is that a personal threat??? lmfao as I served a suspension for not following the forum rules when posting!!! be careful, if you got a suspension that would leave just 2 men without a dog!

Now go have a nice day.....

A much better second half yesterday. We've been the sort of side to take our opponents for granted. Not so yesterday. We enter a very difficult part of the draw now. Manly away next week on Friday. That's a tough trip at ythe best of times. Not helped by a very in form Manly. Then we face Windsor at home. The Wolves are bloody strong. Their named back row this week was Shane Rodney, Adam Schubert and Frank Puletua. That's quite an arsenal to run at our forwards. Following that is the Auckland ambush having to play them on Saturday lunchtime.

Summing up, a very important win for our long-term top four hopes considering what's to come.

2TB's, unfortunately I missed the game (a rare thing for me when they play at Henson).

Therefore, no match report from me.

Can someone that did go report on the crowd please?

I was wondering if we got any more regulars after the big day against North Sydney!

Probably below average on the crowd. Not surprising,. Cronulla played that night so they only had half a dozen or so waving their big flags. Not much other away support to speak on. Quite a few on the hill because it was sunny. Not many in the grandstand.

All the byes and split rounds are past us. It's all week to week from now on - good for people to get into the rhythm of watching us week in week out. 4 of our last 8 are at home.
