Today on the BBC JD proves to me that he doesn't really understand the essence of RL.
Advocating CC's bid he says:
"They'll have three years, the first season will be very difficult for people to adjust both on and off the field but there's no relegation. If it's not working you'll know by the third year and the licence will go to someone else... and that will be it for rugby league (in Wales) I believe."
RL is the most durable of sports that despite its administrative shortcomings over the years keeps attracting people who want to be involved in it as it's such a good sport. The failure of CC won't be the end of the game at all. It's growing every week at grass roots level and that will continue now that the WRL is an independent body.
