The Bulls look very impressive from that line up. Jolly and Tippet could prove to be devastating.
For mine they would have to be favourites to reclaim the title.
I unfortunately couldnt make Saturdays event but will be sure to check out the Bulls at the upcoming St Marys event.
Any other notable player sightings NFed?

Bulls will have to get past the Cougars in their pool next saturday. They may also face some old foes from metro with Doonside being the other team in the pool.

Wenty had 3 new backs on saturday - Matt Pethybridge (Balmain), Clint Flanagan (Woy Woy) and Gordon Graff (Ourimbah).

Asquith plugged their player losses with Steve Berryman & Poutatou Berryman (Narraweena), Brad Domek (Cougars) and Chan Ly & Frank Perese (Newtown).

Belrose sent mainly a reserve grade team which proved to be a bit embarrassing while Ourimbah are looking to continue their arrangement with Wests Premier League and so have added some more youth from the Flegg comp - Bryce Poisel & Nathan Ferguson (Norths) and Brad Soper (Wests).

It was a good day but far too long, the bowl and plate semis and finals are a waste of time. Wenty had the chance to beat the Entrance but one of their players threw the ball away over the line in the semi. It was more a case of trying to lose not win in these games. A small crowd when you take away all the players and officials.

The day was well run and congrats to the Windsor officials but just too long.

Congrats to the Bulls on winning.

The club is a bit of an oasis next to the ground. Had a look at the photos. Windsor were originally Magpies - we could have had 4 magpie teams in the comp! Also had a photo of their last A grade premier team from 1988. Val De Bono, John Cartwright, Ken Wolfe all went on to play 1st grade for Penrith and Ron Coskerie for Canberra.

Matt Pethybridge (Balmain),

so thats where he's gotten to

It was very confusing - not only was he mentioned in the Balmain summer squad but theres a photo of him (90% sure its him) on the norths website.

Glad he's not with us but good luck to him :)
