although it may look as if they dont have fans it wouldnt take much to attract crowds to the ground.
simple promotion within the junior club and the local area would result in higher crowds. it will benefit them now playing after the two senior teams as the players and spectators will most likely stay around for the games.
scheduling would have had a significant effect on the crowds in my opinion.
4.30 on a saturday is an extremely awkward time slot and wouldve put off many fans.
they posess a great ground so it would be great to see it utilised with large crowds.
i attended the Parra District junior finals last year at Ringrose and it wouldve had a crowd of around 1000+. the atmosphere created was terrific.

The Asquith website says that the club has established a relationship with the NZ Maori group in Sydney and as a result have many of their players currently playing for them.
Hopefully we will see them join the Jim Beam Cup in 2005 to give the North of Sydney representation in this developing competition.

Although they said the same thing last year, Asquith met with NSWRL to discuss admission in 2005. Yesterday they beat 2003 St George JRL premiers, Arncliffe Scots 40-4. Scots had their chances but couldnt finish off, they trailed 16-4 going into the last quarter but then Asquith converted their dominant play by scoring 5 tries. Billy Ngawini was always dangerous. We will have to wait to see how the Magpies go against Belrose.

On saturday the Bulls beat Windsor 52-30 in a free flowing affair at Windsor in front of a crowd of 200. Adam Tippett (Balmain) and Travis Touma (Cronulla) have returned to the Bulls while new faces include Justin Doyle (wenty), Dave Moffatt (Henry Lawson) and Gavin De Bartolo (Easts Rugby). Moffatt will be the one of the veterans of this years comp having played in St Mary's metro wins in 1992 and 2001. Another veteran, James Pickeing, got about 10 minutes in each half. Perhaps he is going to captain the reserve grade.

Windsor captain-coach Nathan Barnes conducted a long post mortem on the field after the game. New players in the Wolves include Craig Trindall & Tito Nuimata (Doonside), Lino Salafai & Wales Tatua (Cougars), Wade Lestrange (Wenty), Shenelle Haumono (St Marys), Mark Butler (Kellyville), Adam Glover (Woy Woy) and Ryan Wheeler (UWS). There was also a backrower from Ryde Eastwood.

Cabramatta beat Newtown on Friday night. I dont have a score for this game.
