In todays paper, it said that Joe G was meant to turn up on Wednesday to sign with Manly but failed to show, and his manager hasnt been able to get a hold of him.

Fingers crossed he changed his mind/we offered him slightly more or some other conspiricy theory?

The Daily Telegraph, Page: 151, Sport Confidential with James Phelps.

I also noticed in todays Dail Telegraph, in the story about Michael Jennings there is the following "Jennings said that despite the Eels position on the ladder, Michael Hagan's men posed a major threat with the side finding form over the past three weeks." This is in the Main Game section, page 65.

I think he went to pray and god said "What are you doing son? If you sign for Manly you go to the Devil"

can i draw a long bow for a moment...

I wonder if the possible appointment of Ossie has changed Joey's mind given the spiritual connection they both have and the fact that they may well go to the same church.
