So far we have signed a hooker and a second rower, we need a halfback.
Joe Williams is a real talent. If he goes to manly, I'll scream.
Surely we can offer more as a club than Manly. Article in SMH did mention there was another club interested, wonder if that was us.
I'd give him 120k a year, long term. This kid is worth it.
I know we have Tim Smith, but this guy has shown he's ready for 1st grade now. Tim Smith won't be ready for 2 years

Williams is a good player, but theyre plenty of halves here at Parramatta:

Williams is likely to sign for Manly on Monday according to Hadley.
Green and Tim Smith are good prospects but won't be ready for 1st grade within
2 years. Witt look more like a 5/8 than a organising half.
We will need Dykes next year and hopefully Tim Smith steps up the following year

Yeah Smith and Green are our future halfs combo, they did play one game of Flegg as half and 5/8 just before Smith was elevated to PL and they looked the goods. We just have to wait for them to come through now.

I agree that these two players look good.
But if we buy Morrisson who will be 29 next year, he won't be around when these guys come into grade. Hindy may get fed up and see no future in the club and leave.

We haven't had a stable halfback since Sterlo.

I think it's time to give both Smiths, Mateo and maybe even Reddy, if you can still find a place for Wade, and see how far they need to progress before they ready. It's no good harping on the fact that they may not be ready without giving them a go.
