Paps will still be on his first NRL contract, which is due to expire this year, the club has said on a number of occasions this off season that once the new cap is set (which thankfully it is now) he will be #1 priority

I dont see how we can possibly not be able to match offers for him, especially this 1 million dollar 3 year deal, which is only 330k ish.

Parra would be mad not to chase him but im pretty confident we will keep him

Berrigan wont re-sign past this year, theres at least 200k. Will no doubt be Brett White's last year in canberra, there's another 250-300k. Joe Picker will follow suit to the tune of around 150k. Glenn Buttriss is unlikely to get another deal (i hope) he'd be on over 100k... and hey, we could always ask an oft injured 5/8th and captain, a bloke who LOVES Papalii to do a new deal at a lower cost than the 400k we're paying him now to help out


We've got 16 weeks to find a way to get Paps enough money so he doesnt feel financial pressure to move clubs... maybe sometime between now and then, you and your pack of two headed clowns will find a way to move on from Joel Edwards... i wont hold my breathe though.
