Hell, even the NRL clubs do it. I've seen more people at a senior citizen chess club tournament then at a Roosters game.

For crying out loud, I've BEEN to a Rooster's game in Sydney v the Western Reds and could count the crowd.

Compromised probably isn't the right word. It's more about no code being perfect, and people with agendas can influence what people think, such as in TFC. Beaussie spent half his day spouting rubbish. As you can see, it jacked him off that i was a Swans fan WELL before he ever was.

And as i point out - correctly - many Swans games crowd figures were lower then the 'official' figure posted and were inflated with free tickets.

I mentioned mentioned one of the games at Manuka that everybody knows who saw it was WELL short of the figure that was posted - something like 7000 odd. in fact, someone here posted here stating they knew someone on the gate who reckons it was only 3000 or so.


But to Beaussie, OH NO! The AFL don't do that. But everybody knew it to be the truth.

So you call it 'getting owned'. I call it telling the facts as they were. Swans over-inflated crowd figures. Like some clubs in the NRLwho have been doing for years. Everybody knows it.
