The problem with signing him is not the player, it's how our coach will use him.

He will either start and only be replaced through injury or we don't see him at all. There is no risk for players in front if him who are under performing. They know they won't be dropped for possibly a more experienced player in Reddy, and the same goes the other way, a junior with all the skill in the world won't play first grade because a fit Reddy has his position.

Ultimately one of them is wasted.

Reddy's positional stats (career)

Fullback - 6 games (1 try) - 3 wins, 3 losses
Wing - 18 games (7 tries) - 9 wins, 9 losses
Centre - 63 games (29 tries) - 30 wins, 33 losses
Five-Eighth - 1 game - 1 draw
Bench - 2 games (1 try) - 1 win, 1 loss.

Based on that, he's not a fullback, a winger or a five-eighth, he's a centre
Exactly he is a centre, but could probably make a fist of fullback, and he defended with Grothe for years,so he basicaly covered 2 blokes every week,a good player.

If Reddy comes, tell him to bring his old man..he'll coach some mongrel into our forwards. We might even bite a few ears off next year!!!

he used to be a good finisher outwide. if he gets back to his best then he would go well on the right wing or right centre. maybe he will play right centre and ayshford will be pushed out to the right wing
