The most surpising omissions are Roach, Hey and Sid Pearce.

Matt23 they couldn't put Langer in as the halfbacks they picked were Johns, McKivat and Sterling. I'd have picked Hey over Sterling, but that's nothing. Can't pick 4 halfbacks on a Roo tour.

The most surprising selection was Lockyer.

what a joke, obviously the people that voted didnt watch origin and broncos games in the 90's, all they have seen is newcastle matches or something otherwise alfie woulda gotten in ahead of joey easily.

Walters another Knight. :D

He played his worst football at the Knights & he was only there for about half a season.

He played 5 or 6 games, then retired with a knee injury. IMO he played great for the knights in that short time. He was classed good enough to keep buderus waiting.

Might be mistaken here, but at the time I don't think Buderus was considered as a first grade Hooker was he? he was playing in halves in first div wasn't he? I thought he stepped in as a manufactured/fill in Hooker at first and was so good there that's where he stayed.
