For Morris, the benefit is, we have core players under contract for 2-3 years add to that, we have the juniors coming through who Morris has been part of, it maybe that we dont really have to go into the market, but be selective in who we need.

Flanno was the expert in not rushing into new signings, he seemed to be able to wait and wait and a player would become available and not pay overs, that will be the best test for Morris

It’s alright when ya winning (or not playing) but as soon as ya start losing & the press get on ya back, it can fast turn to shit.

He’s in for a rocky road but let’s hope the players perform & he doesn’t need to worry about that.

Hope he picks a couple of young blokes from the get go, so he doesn’t introduce them to a losing team.

We haven’t had as many promising juniors since the early Lang years, & he’s the man to introduce them to first grade I think.

All i can say is i'm excited to see how this year is going to go. Bring on the Jomo and give him a chance.

He really is a good choice for all the young gun's swarming our depth.

He may have a few hostilities along the way as he has to lead the seniors, but they respect him. He is switched on and will be able to over come these obstacles fingers crossed.

However Gus, Sticky, Mickey Hagan, Trent Robinson and Ash Hennessy all won comps in their rookie coaching years. Maybe more, so it can be done
