What are people's thoughts on him Haven't seen any Holden Cup matches this year or last year but he has now scored 7 tries in 2 games this year. Could he be a chance of debuting sometime this year?

The guy may play a game or two depending on injuries etc. he is a massive talent and someone that will certainly play a lot of first grade

Steve Turner's retirement won't hurt his chances of a call up.
Perhaps not, but the return of Ben Barba will. If there's anything I picked up from the game against the Eels, it's that Drury Low is NOT a fullback. He got absolutely smashed almost everytime he got the ball. Barba returning to fullback should see Low dropped - I thought Mitch Brown was very solid.

John Sila is listed as 180cms. Might go well for a while but will get found out far too easily.

Fullback is very different, at fullback you very rarely get contested high kicks and when you do it's more hit and hope type kicks and the opposition player trying to put you off, I mean there are plenty of short fullbacks, Slater, Barba, Locke, Coote, Bowen, etc.
On the wing it's a completely different story high kicks are often one on one contests against your opposite winger and if you look at the wingers these days most are 6'2 or taller and have very good vertical leaps.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Thank you aqua duck.

I'm fairly sure he is taller than 180cm. Much taller in fact; he is a massive unit. For whatever reasons (which are only known to the recruitment officers at the Bulldogs) Sila was not included in the 2011 SGB team, but suddenly he has displaced the same people for a spot in the U/20's, and as others here suggest, pushing for a 1st grade spot!

Besides wing he wouldn't go astray in the centres or backrow! A great talent who has matured both psychologically and physically. Apparently trains the house down!

He didn't play SG Ball in 2011 because he missed out on the registration by a few days, so instead they elevated him directly to NYC.
