And this is why I currently love to hate origin. I get the importance to the game as a whole and the effect it has on players when they come back to their clubs. Having a standalone concept for origin is what is needed, however even that wouldn't have helped NQ with this one.

We pay/paid him $1mil for 6 games. I just hope he doesn't get the itch again next year and do an Alfie.....

That sort of injury would have likely occurred in the next game anyway.

Bar the broken leg, he has been a virtual iron horse for 12 seasons for us, so it's not like a regular thing and he has been a bad investment salary wise. Also his salary will be covered by insurance
