How is this disgrace to world rugby still allowed to referee at the highest level? His bias against Australian teams has been on display for all to see for years now, the latest travesty coming at the weekend when he binned Al Campbell but refused to bin any Blues players despite the Blues conceding 3 times the number of penalties the Brumbies did, and some despicable acts of foul play (stamping and dangerously pulling down the lineout).

In fact, lets have a look at the decisions he let go and the decisions he penalised.

Yellow card - knocking the ball down
No yellow card - stamping nowhere near the ball (in fact all he got was Al Campbell's ankle), grabbing a player by the head at the lineout, resulting in him falling dangerously head-first to the turf.

Kaplan is a f**king disgrace and has once again cost an Australian side victory by his ridiculously biased decision. f**k off Kaplan, I hope you never referee again.

He's been the best ref in the game since Andre Watson retired in my view.

With regards your comments on him being biased against Australian teams, that is not true. He has always called it how he has seen it. He doesn;t protect Australian team's shortcomings like a lot of other ref's (ie - scrums).

Do you not remember the Bledisloe Cup game in Wellington in 2000?

2000 is a LONG time ago. In 2000 even I thought he was going on to be a good ref. But Kaplan, over the last few years, has clearly developed a massive bias against Australian teams.

If anything the only fault that Kaplan has is the bias towards the home team when reffing. IF you watch him he will give penalties if the crowd reacts to something. Aus bias is just grabbing at straws!

I disagree, but that's only natural I suppose. What really irked me was that the penalty count was something like 12-4 against the Blues, yet the team that offended 3 times less was the team to have someone sent from the field, at such a crucial stage of the game for what was a nothing offence when compared to those that did not warrant such a reaction.
