I my view, no decision really was an indication of him going to union.

If he was staying, there was no better time to say so.

maybe they could have given us $1.6 million a year instead and independently paid mat rogers $400,000 per year
we could have paid him $300,000 for three years which would have enabled LG to delay their payments to him for three years
so he's getting $700,000 per year for playing footy (with some of the payment deferred) and we'd only be counting $300,000 per year under the salary cap

and what about wendell? and tuqiri? gallop put his foot down just a little while ago about helping get lote back. maybe it could be because gallop loves johns and goes surfing with him that he's signed off on this deal?

it sets a very ugly precedent that will favour clubs like the roosters over most clubs such as the sharks
