In terms of membership, it's a bit pointless to do anything much IMO as long as the leagues club control the NRL side.

Having a football club that controls the NRL side is the big carrot to get people to join.

This great thread and forum members aside, I'd say most of our fan base won't have an interest in a joining a footy club that controls junior football only.

Oh, and I never said this thread was pointless. Just I think it pointless the FC would do anything big when they only control junior footy.

I wasn't talking about them doing anything big on memberships... just maybe doing something in the months after the election perhaps?

Simple things... like a website for our Junior footy, with info of how to join the FC. I support the move of the NRL to FC (more than you do I think?), but personally I don't think it's an excuse to wait on some of the smaller initiatives once elected.

Pretty much too. But if it is apparently stopping the 3P FC Directors from having done anything in regard to memberships (the subject of this thread), then it has to happen sharpish imo.

This is my first post on this site, I moved to Melbourne from NSW over a year ago and have been going for the Eels since i could speak. I am as passionate as an Eels Fan as they come. I quite often Have to sit up till 1am to watch the Eels and had foxtel installed just to catch every game played because Victoria has the poorest Rugby League Exposure in the Country.

Even Though i doubt i will able to go to the Parramatta Footy Club all that often i would appreciate if i could have a registration Form sent out to me cause i am keen to join.
