Having a few beers with an old sponsor of the club this arvo here in Parra

I asked him about Spags he goes the prick wont leave him alone.

His hounding him daily and sending text messages.

The prick wont stop

@Twizzle

We may need to give this leagues club vote more air time on here.

Hidden away here on this thread

We cant let Spags get these resolutions over the line.

It's not exactly hidden, although this thread is more to do with memberships. Start a new thread if you want.

So I'm a little out of the loop with all the board stuff, I got the voting email a littl bit ago and I have the portal open, I imagine the best thing to do (i.e. to keep spags and his cronies away) is vote for the incumbents?

Absolutely.
It's a no brainer.

And vote YES to the Ordinary Resolutions and NO NO NO to all the special resolutions, except the first 2.

If you don't vote NO to the Special resolutions this may be the last time you can vote online.

Was a big mistake to let these vermin into the club, in back in the 3P days...

Have voted - f**k Spags, and the member-proposed special resolutions 😎

Some further info from the Parra forum during the week, obviously there is a lot more, but from what i remember that hasnt been posted yet or I havent seen posted

We look like going to Vegas in 2027. Not confirmed yet, but should be in a few weeks, all signs and discussions are we are going

The coach, CEO, Chairman, GM of football all went together on a UK trip during the off season
Spent time with two rugby clubs and two EPL sides to grab some ideas.

Positive reinforcement from the trip in what we are doing

Alignment throughout the organisation

We are stripping down the game day entertainment (as EPL sides don't invest a lot into entertainment but rather tradition, building emotion/passion) We will focus more on 'connection to the Badge'. We all have a part to play. No other details other than they want us members to embrace whats coming and think we will enjoy it...

Bath rugby won all 3 trophys but were near the bottom not long ago. The leadership and directness of knowing what to do to bring them success. We are on the right path

We debut some guys last year that weren't ready, due to injury

Massive focus on developing the 14-15-16 year olds
Ryles said there is some golden kids coming through that will be great in 4-5 years but he cant wait , he wants to win now..

Love it and love Ryles' approach.
A view to the future and also the current.
A far cry from baldy's old school approach previously.

Members proposed resolutions averaged 17-18,% in pre voting. Needs 70%+1

Oops. They lost.

Source: some returning officer who read out numbers at a meeting.
Lol. Thanks MJC

17% is about as bad at the federal LNP Coalition is polling at the moment.

I take it there aren't enough people present at the meeting to vote and get them to 70%?

17% is too high. They are either Spags mates or clueless morons
