This is for people who are going to discuss and open their eyes and not be stubborn QLD or NSW supporters

If your giong to come on here and bag me or bag jonathan and call him a grub then dont comment we dont care about what you have to say

Who think Jonathan deliberately kicked David Williams in the head??

I think Jono was clearly going for a loose ball and David Williams was trying to retain it.

I think it was obviously not a deliberate kick, if it happened on the 50 metre line and their was a loose ball and he goes to kick it ahead as someone else is going to jump on it, he accidently gets him in the head its the same thing, but people would be getting a different reaction..

JT did the right thing, unfortunately ended up badsituation, But what you want him to do, watch a loose ball and watch NSW player get the try easily

once again you got nothing good to say or an opinion without letting loose and giving sh*t to some onne then dont comment

AND FOR ALL THE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT, WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT HE DID AND TRENT BARRETS DOG SHOT ON GREG INGLIS IN GAME TWO.

THAT WAS WITH INTENTION AT LEAST THURSTONS HE WAS CLEARLY GOING FOR THE BALL, DONT SEE QLD SUPORTERS WHINGING AND COMPLAINING ABOUT IT.

He most certainly did not do the right thing, using your feet to try to kick the ball free or stop a ball from being grounded has been outlawed from the game.

Having said that, i dont think him connecting with Williams' head was at all a deliberate act, it really would have served no purpose whatsoever to do it because it wouldnt have stopped Williams from scoring.

Im glad he didnt get suspended but it was a nasty looking accident.

I am a Queenslander.

I am not defending JT on that one although I thought it was lazy and not pre-meditated.

Needs to be rubbed out of the game quick smart along with what Poore did when a player is injured....andrenalin after 1 min or mentally buggered after 79 mins it is not on.

Hypocrite, you only want people to answer the question you posed, only if they agree with you.

Yes I do, he was standing approx 2 metres away when Williams first hit the ground, JT then moved towards Williams, and he only ever intended kicking.

How many ifs are you going to use to try and justify your bias ? I thought you only wanted people who had their eyes open to discuss this. Apart from you, right ?

JT did the right thing, unfortunately ended up badsituation, But what you want him to do, watch a loose ball and watch NSW player get the try easily

If he cannot stop the try without kicking a player in the head, yes.

once again you got nothing good to say or an opinion without letting loose and giving sh*t to some onne then dont comment
I do hope you can see the hypocrisy between the above comment and the first sentence you wrote.

AND FOR ALL THE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT, WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT HE DID AND TRENT BARRETS DOG SHOT ON GREG INGLIS IN GAME TWO.

Simple, Barrett hit Inglis with a forearm, Thurston kicked Williams in the head, all 4 players involved are different, JT had a clear sight of where contact would be made, Inglis was in the process of falling towards the ground, Williams could not get any lower to the ground, he was in the process of scoring a try he was not going to suddenly stand up, he was for all intents and purposes stationary.

THAT WAS WITH INTENTION AT LEAST THURSTONS HE WAS CLEARLY GOING FOR THE BALL, DONT SEE QLD SUPORTERS WHINGING AND COMPLAINING ABOUT IT.

I take it this whole reading caper is new to you.

I know what you mean but the argument doesn't necessarily work. players have done much worse things than what JT does, even tho it had no hope of getting them the ball or stopping a try or winning a game.

eye gouging, wheel-grabbing, you name it.

it's hard to say either way.

but I'm willing to give more leniency to someone like billy slater when he comes in at the ball with his foot at the same time as the opposition is going for it with his hands.

when thurston did it, williams already had the ball.

if it wasn't deliberate it was careless and arrogant and really f**king stupid.

"That word...I do not think it means what you think it means"

How is kicking someone, accident or not, arrogant??

For the record i wouldnt have been surprised at all if Thurston got suspended, and he probably deserves a week or two. Intent shouldnt matter.

No, I dont think it was deliberate.

But the fact of the matter is, he swung his leg, it hit Wolfmans face, and thats illegal in Nrl. Rules are Rules.

Absolutely, i think everyone agrees with this.

Im not trying to defend his non-suspension. Like i said, he probably should have gotten a couple of weeks for it, but thankfully (from a club point of view) he didnt.

that's an awesome movie, but sadly yes I do know what arrogant means.

arrogant as in he didn't bother to even think that the ball he was apparently kicking out at was right in front of someone else's face. clearly he doesn't give a sh*t about the dude on the ground. classic example of arrogance.

Who the f**k is Steven Hawkins?

The OP said some stupid stuff, but here's a little tip:

If you want to insult someone's intelligence with a reference to a famous person, try and get their name right. Otherwise it just ends up backfiring on you.

Mate didn't i say f*ck off to merkins like you

I started a thread to see what peoples views on it were without getting attacked and you dont even say anything about football.

What Trent Barret did is completely different to what Thurston did, he had every intention to hurt Greg Inglis in game two and i said it was a dog act.

F*ckk off i wanna talk football not waste my time arguing with geniuss like you

psssst.. his name is Stephen Hawking, i think thats what they meant by getting his name right.

And Sass, what you described is careless, not arogant.

omg I don't wanna argue with you about semantics mate. as if disregarding someone else's injury isn't proof of feeling they're inferior then I dunno what is. end of story.
