benji was outragedBroncos fans and players displaying intense butthurt over a fake news story.
I reckon Andrew Johns v Canberra in Round 3 probably tops itI cant recall a shitter end to a fantastic career
They should move the game to Belmore so Thurston can farewell the club that gave him his chance.
He didn't play NRL for the bulldogs.

Not a fan. He'll get a final game at Townsville anyway, but why does it have to be his last ever game? Leave it as it is.Jonathan Thurston last game of his career almost definitely is at CBUS stadium Gold Coast and a idea has been thrown up to move it up to Townsville so he gets a final farewell. Terrible idea. It would set precedent doing something like this, and its also a thin swipe at the Titans suggesting "you don't get many fans going to your games so why should you care?"
It would be tacky doing something like this, Titans are not out of the finals race yet and already lost a couple of home games from the Commonwealth games. I'm not sure they would be happy playing against a Cowboys team at home looking to put in a big effort for Jonathan Thurston's last one. Just plain stupid.
You missed the point..
Reread Valheru’s post properly

Sterlo's last few years at Parra weren't exactly thrilling.
And his last ever game was him hobbling off injured mid season.
Wally Lewis didn't exactly go out covered in anything approaching glory
Those 4 wins in his last two seasons with the Seagulls!!
Doesn't have to be one club player for testimonial , needs to have played 10 consecutive years at one club and over 250 games
