Thefrog is such a grouch when it comes to players from outside the panthers. What a miserable merkin lmao.

If a panther did this he would have shit his pants
Cartwright does it every week, when he's not dropping the ball. We don't even bat an eyelid any more.

Not once you run past the advantage line.

It wasn't past the advantage line. Refs give a bit a leeway to the attacking team when the opposing team makes a mistake.

I remember this was debated on the Sunday Footy Show. Peter Sterling showed an incident where the team tried to play on and lost possession so they called a double knock on. Sterling questioned why it was a double knock-on since the team played advantage. Brad Fittler disagreed saying to encourage those exciting ad-lib football moments from a mistake, teams deserve a bit of leeway to get one free shot.

I can respect that, it's the merkins like Frog who waltz in to gameday threads week after week with paragraphs of nonsensical crap trying to provide a logic as to why teams on his hate list won't win a game, much easier if you just say it how it is
Hahaha, what a twonk.

It's great to see players high on confidence taking risks like this. The more they come off the less likely a coach is to tell them to stop trying to do shit like this.

I don'tthink anything will top Friends backflip pass. But that was just ridiculous luck. This pass by BJ could be replicated in a game again. Hopefully in a grand final. Special moments like that are remembered forever. Who doesnt remember that Benji flickpass from 2005?

I thought I'd made the way I feel about the pack of pansies you support clear many times, but I guess sometimes you need a sledgehammer. And forgive me for my apparently mistaken belief that game day threads were for everyone to comment on games in whatever manner they see fit, so long as it's within the forum rules. I think you are just jealous because a couple of paragraphs of prose is so clearly beyond your skills. It must hurt all three of your heads. There is an ignore function, but I guess that's a bit hard too.

Anyway, I'm sorry for so deeply offending the Raiders people for saying their boy's very clever pass was wasted in the game and situation in which it occurred. Lets all hope he can do it again several times next week because I want us to play the Sharks in the second week.

The advantage line is where the ball was first knocked on, so it was past the advantage line.

Advantage is up to the referee to decide. In this case I think a mistake would have been advantage taken. But again its up to the referee or video referee.

Advantage was definitely taken. The Super Leage has a free play rule, not the NRL.

Refs always rule on the first knock on, and give leeway. That may be your opinion but that's not how the ref call the game on the field.
